Maternity Benefits Scheme (BBOCWWB)

The Maternity Benefits Scheme, run by the Bihar Building and Other Construction Workers Welfare Board (BBOCWWB), provides financial support to female construction workers during childbirth. The scheme aims to help pregnant women workers by giving them cash assistance equivalent to 90 days of minimum wages for unskilled workers as set by the Bihar Government. This benefit is provided at the time of delivery to support the mother and newborn.
