Overview
India's central government has launched over 60 schemes targeting unemployed youth — including PMKVY (free skill training with stipend), MUDRA Yojana (business loans up to ₹10 lakh), PM SVANidhi for street vendors, Startup India, Stand Up India, National Apprenticeship Promotion Scheme, and state-level unemployment allowances. Jute Resource-Cum-Production Centre
Jute Resource-Cum-Production Centre (JRCPC) will be set up in the local clusters and localities across the country in collaboration with bonafide Agencies who have adequate experience in training and skilling programs and have required training cum-production infrastructure.
Uttarakhand Unn Yojana
The scheme aims to provide spinning and weaving work, fostering employment in the wool industry. Through this scheme, payment for spinning and weaving work, along with pension benefits and an annual bonus, is provided to weavers.
E-Rickshaw Kalyan Yojana
The scheme focuses on providing financial assistance and incentives to individuals and entrepreneurs who wish to operate electric rickshaws in urban and semi-urban areas. The primary objective is to reduce air pollution, promote cleaner transportation, and generate employment opportunities.
Stand-Up India
A scheme by Ministry of Finance for financing SC/ST and Women Entrepreneurs by facilitating bank loans for setting up a greenfield project Enterprise in manufacturing, services, trading sector and activities allied to agriculture.
Uttarakhand State Shilp Ratna Award
Under this scheme, every year, 25 artisans of Uttarakhand are honored. The award includes a cash prize of ₹1,00,000, a certificate of appreciation, a memento, an angavastra (ceremonial stole), and a citation letter.
Gau Palan Yojana
The scheme aims to promote cow rearing by providing financial support for the purchase of a milch cow. Through this scheme, a subsidy of ₹36,000 is given to SECC beneficiaries from SC/ST communities.
Bhed Palan Yojana
The scheme aims to promote self-employment among marginalized communities through sustainable sheep rearing practices. Through this scheme, a sheep-rearing unit consisting of 10 female sheep and 1 male sheep (aged between 10 to 14 months) is provided to eligible beneficiaries.
Scheme for Assistance to MSMEs for Market Development
The scheme aims to provide financial assistance to MSMEs participating in national and international fairs/exhibitions/buyer-seller meets, etc., under the Rajasthan MSME Policy 2024.
Assistance for Digitization of Business Processes and Adoption of eCommerce
The scheme offers MSMEs up to 75% reimbursement (max ₹50,000) for software/equipment costs for digitization, plus 75% of e-commerce platform fees (excl. shipping), also up to ₹50,000. Reimbursement is allowed for one e-commerce platform per MSME only.
Ashadeepa Scheme
The scheme was introduced by the Government of Karnataka in the 2017-18 budget to encourage private sector industries and companies to provide employment opportunities to persons belonging to the Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe categories, ensuring social justice.
