Foster Care Scheme (Vatsalaya)

The Foster Care Scheme (Vatsalya) is run by the Department of Women & Child Development, Government of Goa. It provides temporary care and support for children whose parents cannot look after them due to illness, death, or abandonment. The scheme aims to ensure that vulnerable children receive safe shelter and rehabilitation during difficult circumstances.
