Prime Minister's Scholarship Scheme

The Prime Minister's Scholarship Scheme (PMSS) is a central government program run by the Ministry of Defence through the Department of Ex-servicemen Welfare. Launched in 2006-07, it helps dependent children of ex-servicemen, ex-coast guard personnel, and widows of these personnel pursue higher technical and professional education. The scheme aims to encourage and support the educational advancement of these families.
