Accidental Benefit

The Accidental Benefit scheme is run by the BOCW (Building and Other Construction Workers) Welfare Board under the Labour Department of West Bengal. This scheme provides financial assistance to construction and building workers who suffer injuries, disabilities, or need hospitalization due to workplace or other accidents. It aims to support workers and their families during medical emergencies caused by accidents.
