Laadli Laxmi Scheme

Laadli Laxmi Scheme is a social welfare program run by the Government of Goa to promote the value and dignity of girl children. The scheme aims to eliminate female foeticide and change the perception that a girl's birth is a financial burden on families. It provides financial assistance to support girls from birth through their marriage.
