Visiting Advanced Joint Research Faculty Scheme
The VAJRA (Visiting Advanced Joint Research Faculty) Scheme is run by the Ministry of Science and Technology to invite overseas scientists and academicians to work as visiting or adjunct faculty in Indian public research institutions. The scheme focuses on Non-Resident Indians (NRIs) and Persons of Indian Origin (PIO) or Overseas Citizens of India (OCI). It enables knowledge sharing and research collaboration between Indian institutions and global academic experts.
