Scheme for Grant of Additional Scholarship to the Students of Other Backward Classes of Andaman and Nicobar Islands, for Pursuing Higher Studies Anywhere in India after Secondary Level (Except Class XI & XII)
This scheme provides additional financial scholarship to Other Backward Classes (OBC) students from Andaman and Nicobar Islands who wish to pursue higher education. Run by the Government of India, it supports non-creamy layer OBC students studying at polytechnics, ITIs, colleges, and universities across India after completing their secondary education. The scholarship aims to remove financial barriers and encourage higher education among OBC communities in the Union Territory.

Who Can Apply
- Age: 12–100 years
- Residence: Andaman and Nicobar Islands residents only

- Should be from non-creamy layer of OBC
- Must be a resident of Andaman and Nicobar Islands
- Should have completed secondary (Class X) or senior secondary (Class XII) education
- Must be enrolled in a government-recognized polytechnic, ITI, college, or university
- Not applicable for Class XI and XII students
