Financial Assistance to War Widows of Defence Forces
✓ Information verified — June 2026Under the scheme, financial assistance of ₹3,000/- per month shall be granted to War Widows of Defence Force Personnel’s (Army, Navy & Air Force) who were killed in action during declared war of 1962, 1965 & 1971 in addition to family pension already getting from Government of India.
