✓ Information verified — June 2026Under this scheme, financial assistance will be provided to registered construction workers with full or 50% disability due to an accident. The financial assistance will also be provided to the widowed dependents of registered male construction workers for any reason of death.

Who Can Apply
- Gender: Male only
- Age: 18–60 years
- Residence: Chandigarh residents only
- Must be a registered construction worker under the applicable construction worker welfare scheme
- For disability benefit: Must have sustained injury or disability due to an accident
- For widow benefit: Must be the widow of a registered male construction worker
- Must be a resident of Chandigarh or have registered address in Chandigarh
