Bal Ashrams
Bal Ashrams is a residential care programme run by the Social Welfare Department of Jammu and Kashmir to protect orphaned and destitute children. The scheme provides these vulnerable children with free shelter, food, clothing, and quality education in a safe environment. Its main goal is to eliminate child labor and ensure every child receives proper schooling and care.
