The Advance Authorisation (AA) scheme is run by the Ministry of Commerce and Industry to help exporters. It allows manufacturers and merchants who export goods to import the raw materials and inputs they need without paying import duties. This scheme helps Indian exporters compete globally by reducing their production costs.
