Grants In Aid To SC/ST Patients Suffering From Cancer And Other Malignant Diseases

This scheme provides one-time financial grants to patients from SC/ST communities and Tea Tribes in Assam who are undergoing medical treatment for cancer and other serious diseases like tuberculosis. The scheme aims to ease the financial burden on poor patients during their illness by offering direct financial assistance. It is managed by the Assam government to support vulnerable populations in accessing necessary medical care.
